HCHS is blazing a new pathway to forever homes for our area's homeless dogs and cats. Bluestone pavers, engraved with tributes to loved ones or special pets, will form walkways around our beautiful, little shelter. Pet Challenge - Vote for Us!
The Animal Rescue Site is hosting a specialchallenge for eligible Petfinder.com member shelter and rescue groups. The grand prize is a $10,000 grant, and they will be awarding many other grants to rescue groups with the most votes -- a total of $100,000 in grants for animal welfare organizations.

This year, HCHS is sponsoring the Valentine’s Day Couples Race. Discounted lift tickets will be available with a donation to the Humane Society. Discounted tickets are only good for this day and are on a first come, first served basis. Dogs and cats available for adoption will be at both ski lodges throughout the day. Attention eBay Sellers
Heart of the Catskills has become a certified eBayGiving Works - EBAY Giving WorksMissionFish nonprofit organization. This means that if you sell items on eBay you can now donate apercentage (10% - 100%) of your sale to benefit the shelter. How it works in a nutshell: "eBay Giving Works is a fun, easy way to support our cause. Simply list an item on eBay, select our organization to benefit, and choose the percentage you want to give. When your item sells, MissionFish will collect your donation send it to our organization, and provide you with a tax receipt."
