as Adopt-a-Cat Month!

We have lots of cats and kittens waiting for their new homes!

HCHS is celebrating the
American Humane Association’s national Adopt-a-Cat month in June as it’s the time of year when shelters see a surge of cats and kittens being surrendered.

Cats easily reproduce when they are not spayed and neutered and this is the time of year when they are active, resulting in more kittens showing up at our shelter’s doors. We encourage people to visit and meet all the great cats we have at the shelter and at our PetSmart Adoption Center in Kingston. They’re all looking for good, permanent  homes.

At HCHS, we work tirelessly to care for these animals and to find them loving homes. You can help!

Join us to celebrate Adopt-a-Cat month and adopt a cat or kitten yourself, volunteer your time, or make a donation to help us care for the over 175 cats and kittens waiting at the shelter or our PetSmart Adoption Center for homes right now. Whatever you do will enrich the life – and the lives of hundres of homeless cats!

Open Thursday thru Sunday 10am to 4pm
Located on Main Street in Andes yet, you are in for a treat this weekend! With a variety of merchandise that is all donated and priced just right, even the most discerning shopper is bound to come away with something!
