With Deep Appreciation for a Rock’n Night

A huge thank you to everyone who helped to make our Spring Dance and Auction a success!!!  The donations were incredible! The attendance and funds raised were unbelievable, especially in today’s economic environment.  Auctioneer extraordinaire, Dennis Metnick, brought the house to a roar when the Six Packette went for a record breaking $1,700, two times!!!  Everyone had a great time while helping the homeless cats and dogs of our community.  The event could not have happened without the support of our local businesses and our dedicated supporters. Thank you!

Paper Towels are Needed!

It is hard to believe, for the first time in years we have run out of paper towels!!! If you can donate one roll or two, it would be deeply appreciated. Please drop off your donation at the shelter in Delhi, Gifts From the Heart in Andes, Now & Then Video in Margaretville or Petsmart in Kingston. Thank you so much.

Featured Shelter Beauties

Turner

Turner the dog

Turner has the most unusual markings that I have seen. He has a chocolate colored body and brindled legs. When the sun hits his coat there are golden specs that shine. Besides being a beautiful dog, Turner is so gentle and very kind. He takes treats very gently and takes his time chewing. Which is really surprising since he entered the shelter emaciated and starving. Visit Turner on Petfinder.

Utah

Utah the cat

Utah entered the shelter as a stray on September 11, 2007 at the age of only about 12 weeks. She's an orange tiger. She likes attention and likes to be petted. Visit Utah on Petfinder.
